I've only been once with @platypus this summer, we both stacked it but we'll use heatstroke as an excuse. There was plenty of tame stuff for beginners, in fact most people looked like beginners, very different vibe to any other trails i've been to.

The blue route is ideal. No real skilz required. There is even a few 100m "green" loop for people who have never been off road on bike before.

do the blue, and then the red. the red starts tame and then gets fun.
the blue was a bit Early Learning Centre for me, and I have few skillz
