I noticed a report about that on twitter and found it saddening on so many levels. It's good to see he has support from others but really if his life was so invested in lego both as a community and social thing and a private thing spending time building then it's going to really mess him up and put him in a bad mental place.

There was a gofundme page set up to help him start rebuilding ( ahem ) his collection. It did quite well.
