Everyone I know who has these lights has lost the back cover at some point, including myself. Been working fine without it though, just put some blue tack over it to protect the contacts if you get worried when you eventually lose the back cover!
Great light for the money in my experience.

I lost the cover on my original one. Blu tack is a good tip, I cut my knee on the (surprisingly sharp) contact once.

I joined the club last night, it fell off on the rough roads around here I think.
Thanks for the blu-tac tip. Has anyone used the cover off a usb stick or owt else similar for this?

Bought one tonight, seems pretty bright and the body feels pretty chunky/well made, mount looks good. I kida worry the back cover may become loose after repeatedly being taken on and off for charging.
The rear is bright but feels a bit cheap.
