Want to keep the bike clean and simple through winter but also want the coverage of full guards.
Front is easy enough to whip on and off but having track ends + chain tug + 15mm nuts makes the rear a longer process so I came up with a bobbed rear guard that needs no stays, goes quite unnoticed so can stay on constantly and on wet days in less than 5mins I can add the front guard and supplement rear coverage with a clip on seat tube type guard (if needed, will be interesting to see how the coverage from this alone is).
Please note, bike is dirty from a ride last week where I had no guards.

SKS do muguard stay quick release blocks. Meant for the front, incase of accident, but spares are available and allow a mudguard that can be moved back to allow the wheel to come out of the track ends.

Looks well tidy but is it long enough to be useful? Looks like its too short to stop spray up your back, probably enough to keep the bike clean though.

The problem is more that to get to the 2x M5 bolts hold the guard to the seat and chain stay clusters the wheel has to come out.

Like I say, need to test that.
Ideal solution would be that I could attach more proper guard to the bobbed bit and support it with the stays but that needs done figuring out. Maybe heavy duty 3m Velcro? I have like 1 ½ rear hammered VO guards now so if I can get something working with the plastic sks guard I’ll maybe remake it.

mudguard aside - please confirm text of top tube sticker... it's apparently not a "career" that's in the (assumed) bag....

“Your CURRY is in my bag” I made them as a play on the old courier/career ones when I was doing deliveroo.

Haha, brilliant!

Spray is going to be tangent to the wheel when you are going fast (at about N in THOMSON :) )
The fender needs to go out to the end of the wheel ala:

I like what you’ve done there! Will see if I can do something similar I think.

Stuck Kevlar soles back on using gorilla glue.
Need to tidy up the overflow bubbly gunk but it looks to be a pretty decent bond

Not sure that is a hack or a bodge. I did that to my Shimanos and called it "shoe repair".
A bodge would be if you used the glue to hold the shoes onto your feet. A hack would be finding out that inhaling the glue was waaaay more fun than drinking and cheaper too.

Ace shoes, mind.

Fair point,
To me, repairs are serious involving correct tools and materials.
Bodges are with any old crap from the kitchen drawer. In this case, the joint was clamped with a noga camera clamp -

Cheers, they've been sitting around in the shed since the 90s

Ha, I "clamped" mine by sticking a leg of my turbo trainer onto it :)

Excellent, has the bond held ok?
I think I'll add a toestrap for my first outing as I have 'form' with dodgy repairs (after 13 yrs the glue failed in snow on Ben Nevis leaving me to descend barefoot)

Yeah, the gluing was fine. It was my old, old pair though and I've basically retired them now because I think the flexible plastic sole contributes to snapping C-springs.

So the other day the internal di2 battery got disconnected as I pulled the seatpost too much. Of course the cable was also all tangled in the junction box area which made it impossible to pull out enough to just reconnect the battery on the spot. Did this thing to have some gears before getting access to a bottom bracket tool and had a suitably hype 1x11 gravel bike for a short while.

I bought some extra cables and another junction box so that I can take out the seatpost battery and have it wired from one of the aerobar extensions and hanging in my framebag or something, while I test a different seatpost that's messing with my battery location.

Good shout, I have some spare ports on the stem junction box. Would have needed an extra cable though.

Yeah, I've got normal and TT shifters so my 5-port is full, so I bought a couple of shorter cables and another junc. Just temporary until I work out what to do with the battery and bottle cage rivnuts that are getting in its way. Don't want rivnuts cutting into battery and post won't fit as is.
looks like both gorilla tape double sided stuff and the doubled sided tape that comes with @spotter's mount don't want to stick to the metal underside of the rack.
Might try and drill through it.
