I think the key to whether we recall him in January is Demarai Gray's fitness. If Gray isn't back to fitness before Xmas, I think Barnes will be back, otherwise he'll stay with you. I hope he does stay, because regular football and playing well will be doing his confidence the world of good. He's only 20.

I wasn’t thinking we’d turn Barcelona over. I would have been happy with not being blown out 5-1, but at 2-1 and 3-2 there was the hope we’d drag it back level, and we had chances to do so. Hence why I’m so deflated.
