Ouch.
That is so much it might be worth finding out if there is any way to challenge the charge and if there is, whether you can still do that once you have paid the bill.
Good luck with the project though. should be epic.

Got a call from my Postie this morning tgat he had a parcel for me with a "you'll probably want to sit down for this" customs invoice... bastards.
I now have the pleasure of paying rialtas na hÉireann €254 for their pivotal part in bringing my frameset into the country :(
