I do have a thing for the wide body 155, pity that it had very little success in touring car racing, but the q4 was the one I still want now.
Edit - the 2.0 had little success, look what it was up against. While the 2.5 had success in europe.
Edit again: Super touring car was the one that made so many rule changes in 94. -

Check when the cambeltwas done and which kit was fitted, some kits used poor quality plastic in the tensioner surrounds and caused failure, these were even fitted to production vehicles. Something like every 60,000 is a major service, all spark plugs and cambelt inc tensioners.
I had a few of the early boxer engined 1.7 16v. I liked those, cambelt changes were fun....a full front strip.

No idea, don't have one. Was talking to a friend at ford other day, and he mentioned it.

Loving the Alfa. Glorious.

Glad you've noticed this too, can't stand the 3! The carparks are basically SUV/Mazda3/golf here

I'll pass on the details of the fella selling it if you're genuinely interested - he's very much an Alfa man, and the pic above has the car in question in it.
I've always had a hankering for the less favourable motors, and the 145 sits in that category. If money was no object, I'd have a 33 4wd, Thema 8.32 and a Fiat Tipo Sedicivavole too, as I like the Q car thing...
I'm hoping that the files/paperwork in the pics below will demonstrate a level of devotion that will serve as a solid background to my impending ownership.

If yiu were stuck in traffic for hours Wednesday around town because some tosser broke down in the Rotherhithe tunnel, sorry about that. Volvo is in the bin (for now), and am trying to buy a 2002 s6 c5 avant this weekend. All seems kosher, belts done, fat book of expected things done. Only flag is engine management light is on. He says due to faulty post cat o2 sensor. Both exhausts have what appears to be watery oil or sooty water in after use. Does not smoke white or blue in use. Spot would make sense if o2 sensor is faulty and its running rich yes? Am going down with vagcom this weekend, but is there anything else it could be/I should look out for?

Would it be worth getting one of those AA assessment things done?

Too old for the cheap one, plus am going down with mechanic sat so doubt they will be able to tell me too much more for the money.

Thema 8.32 - yes please!
Love that 145 too, never had those here in Aus. Looks well maintained which is the most important thing.

They're good cars but they do reek of herd mentality. Meh, as long as the AC works you'll appreciate it come summer.

s6 c5 avant
Nice! Please share copious pictures.
155 you say....any linkys
i had 155 back in the day, loved and hated it both at the same time, mine was the Tspark 1.8, handled like a dream, sounded lovely, had the upgrades of wooden steering wheel and knob - everything electrical went to shit - alarm would go off at any point, rattled, bits fell off, AC would work randomly (usually when the alarm went off). rust came up on the arch just as i part exed it....
would buy another in a heart beat.
as for the 145- keep an eye on the head gasket..............
