Won’t they be back in for terry henry?? Or were his wage demands too high?
-
• #146983
I think you mean Terry Ennui.

He's the early favourite, though I'm not sure there was anything to that story in the summer. The rest of the runners look to be Dean Smith + the usual suspects - really hope to be doing better than that.

I think Allardyce would be a decent shout for Villa. It’ll be basic but effective.
We’ll see how ambitious the owners are.
Carragher being world class is the most stupid thing I’ve seen in this thread and it’s a high bar.

The commentator on 5 live earlier described Messi as a "hot Argentinian knife through Tottenham butter."

Salah is the Egyptian Michael Ricketts. He’s been utterly shit this season.

Am away and can’t get BT Sport to work here as it is out of the EU?
Have Liverpool kept their 100% win record in all competitions alive?

Fuck me it’s the hope that gets you.
Could have easily been 6-2 Barca, messi hit the same bit of the same post twice in fifteen mins. And in between we dragged ourselves back into the match twice and it really felt like we could snatch a result. And then we didn’t.
Atmosphere after we scored was the best I’ve experienced at Wembley when the fans get a sense that its starting to go their way, wall of noise.
And then the hush after Messi stroked in the fourth, after we shot ourselves in the foot with our rushed attempt to play out from the back.
Messi and coutinho were the difference. Suarez had a few runs, Rakitic got a goal (great strike) busquets was his own neat and tidy self, receiving and releasing the ball just so, but Messi was the one they relied on and the one who was so very dangerous, either with the ball at his feet as everyone backed off him, or making runs into space after a give and go, as you could only look on hoping he missed, even though you knew he wouldn’t..
Glad I got to see him play in person, upset that we threw away a chance to take points off them..

Without Lloris making two strange choices it could have been 2-2. We were lucky but sloppy and with Dele on the pitch I reckon that late cross would have made it 3-2.

Outrageous from Rakitic, what a strike
-
• #146998
So you should've won 3-2 but actually lost 2-4...
