Any issues?
-
• #4757
there's no need to keep editing that post
I've heard not great things restrap stuff in the past. maybe it's good now.
you work for them? -
• #4758
Thanks, how about Apidura? Also, I can't see a Revelate full frame bag on their site, any clues?
-
• #4759
You're half right. I also have a Revelate half-bag.
-
• #4760

Sorry, too many brands. I meant Wildcat, I guess you just email them for a custom bag quote?
-
• #4763
Dunno. I used skinny's custom wildcat bag for a while. Did the job.

“You heard”
I hear lots of things too but tend to stick to actual experience when giving advice.
I don’t work for them.
-
• #4765
I've heard, as in from several of my friends, who bought them, who don't like them
that's all for now. I'd still say something from revelate is better, but restrap are cheaper, true -
• #4766
Go custom or don’t bother.
My restrap was good, never any issue but with my wildcat the zip broke twice.
But yeah, man went big time.

Just steal skinny's Rapha one off his bike in town...
-
• #4768
Yeah, I want custom, make the most of the space. Out of interest, do you keep your camelback at the bottom or top of your bag? I was thinking of having a separate pocket at the bottom, keep the weight low down and easy access to re-fill.

I’ve been quite happy with my home made one, cost about £30 and have enough fabric to try make V2 & V3 other bags or as it happens try convince someone else in to making them!
Alpkit look alright for custom. -
• #4770
Also part of my thinking was until you are using one you don’t know what you might want/ need from a custom one...
-
• #4771
Not enough space at bottom. It sits at back with a Velcro divider to keep it to rear and also to keep the bag width correct so it doesn’t bulge out and push knees out.
Make sure there is a strap right st the bottom of down and seat to prevent the bag being pushed onto chainring.

Indeed, it took me 5 iterations if changes to get happy.

• #4773
Is the Canyon/ Ergon wishbone seat post ok for a saddle bag?
-
• #4774
Yes

It been covered already, there was issues when they tried to get them to be made oversea before making them back inhouse again.
Plus hippy uses revelate
