Do you need 42mm or will 40mm do?
I think there's a Clement something USH in 700c/40mm/tubeless. Good enough for a commuter
And I thought G Ones came in 40mm. Too posh for commuter IMO.

Also these. Never heard of them until now. Probably difficult/expensive to get in the UK like many things Surly.

Kona is being delivered by Yodle. RIP biek.

Assembling this biek in Yodel's parking lot was fun. It did well on its first commute. It needs different saddle and some slicks everything else just works, even if the shifting is a bit shit.

Granny gear for weak legs. It's perfect.

Nice. I've got the previous baby blue incarnation of this and I'm really happy with it.

It's surprisingly nimble given the weight.
How's the groupset holding up? I'm hoping that all steel cogs will survive at least till end of winter. -

Mine only came as single speed, the equivalent of the current black and yellow version.
Had to buy the sliding dropout with built in rear mech hanger. I've fitted a GX chainset, XT rear mech, shifter and cassette and still going strong.
Done a bit of touring, ridden on tarmac, gravel, sand. I find it very comfortable. -

Ah you got the Unit. I went for the X cos it was cheaper.
When the whole groupset inevitably dies in fire I'll put XT on too. -

Cheaper than the Unit? That's good

Now I only need a headset...

Bnib with a nice ebay discount. There's another set and the seller will take 280 for it.

Oh yeah, it's got a different knob
Knew you'd have to go for a tubeless option.
