Has anyone driven a Focus 1.0l ecoboost?

Although I'm reluctant to buy an older Ford, there are some not too old 1.0 in my price range. After seeing what a modern VW 1.4 turbo can do I'm curious.

Is that true? I've found that the early ones had recalls due to a plastic hose needing to be replaced with a rubber one. But otherwise there seems to be no Internet chat compared to say porkers IMS or the wastegate rattle on beemers.
