Anyone got experience of the alp kit custom frame bag?

Has anyone got any experience with these from Arkel?
https://www.bikefix.co.uk/productdisplay/arkel-tailrider-bag
Was thinking of using this with my Tortec ultralight for audax as opposed to a Carradice and additional support

Think a couple of the audaxers on yacf have them, and always seem v positive about them. If you've already got a rack they're probably lighter and more aero than a barley &c.

Interesting solution from Tailfin https://www.tailfin.cc/blogs/stories/the-tailfin-aeropack-launching-soon

Just added a Revelate frame bag to my saddle bag. Could do with some dry weather to test it out.

Could do with some dry weather to test it out.
That remind me to put my Ortieb panniers back on when it's finally dry.
-
• #4741
It’s supposed to be waterproof. I just want some dry weather to do a trip! Bike is upside down in that photo, which I flipped, because back wheel is at the LBS having a spoke replaced.

Nothing with zips is completely waterproof. my revelate framebag has definitely let in a bit of water on occasions.
-
• #4743
It depends on how much the zips have stretched, they're a bit like chains in that respect.

Has anyone been following the adventures of Ryan Wilson on The Radavist?
Currently 2 years into an off-road bikepacking trip - what a fantastic adventure!

Does anyone have an opinion on the best full frame bag, including custom ones.
It will primarily be for TAW next year on a Kinesis 4s (54cm). I will have a bladder in it for hydration. I like the idea of separate sections so I know where everything is. I though the new blackburn ones looked quite good.
Interested in real world reviews.

Was it in this thread where people were listing what they had that could be burrowed?
Only I can’t find it and my search skills here seem useless! :-(
Edit: I’ll elaborate having made my own frame bag and top tube bag. It’s clear the top tube bag isn’t really good enough. And I’m awaiting a test ride with the frame bag. So essentially I’m looking to burrow or as a back up a frame bag, and top tube bag for a 600 next weekend payment in beers coffee or whatever vice you like.
