Crimping must be heated beforehand so as not to weaken the frame...

Hub spacer on and gears indexed, ready for a ride this afternoon, hopefully. Could do with black bar tape really, but I imagine it’ll be about a year before I cba to do that.

I'm looking forward to seeing how the 7700 compares to the 1055 (which i really liked), not having used it before. I've saved a whopping 50g in the upgrade, which i'm sure i'll notice straight away :-)

guys, help me out here:

planning to buy some Chinese carbon to swap my 27,5" hardtail mtb's alloy frame, not quite sure when it comes to color. options are as following:

plain matte carbon, aka another boring black bike

chameleon in green or purple

All carbon bikes are symptoms of a mid life crisis, the colour is cool though! Any colour is better than black.
