Looking for a new 35mm point and shoot, had a yashica t4 but fell out of love with it a bit, looking for a bit more functionality. Any recommendations?

I should really try this because it is an old camera (prod begins in 1984) and the first autofocus compact camera from Nikon. I wonder how precise and fast the AF is.
