Why did you delete the Diane Abbott tweet?
-
• #180
So far all you have done is post links to other people's words as if they are equivocal to your own actions.
Oliver rebutted your Twitter post about Nazis being Socialists with a well evidenced, considered view: you ignored it.
Challenged on a sexist, pretty repugnant meme about Diane Abott you instead try and make it about her Economic prowess.
So no, you're not arguing for your views in good faith. You are just trying to hide yourself behind other people.

As I have said at the beginning of the thread.
"Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence"
The onus is on you to provide such evidence.
So far we have a Diane Abbott Meme.
I'll wait.
Problem here is that the claims are not extraordinary.
We have:
- Islamaphobia
- Racism
- A sprinkling of misogyny
For all of which you have provided the evidence - it's in this thread, on your Twitter etc.
If we take the Diane Abbot thing for e.g. it's saying that she's a horses arse that's had some effective makeup to make it look human. Ergo, she's not a human (as the other two white women are). You claim that it's about her mathematical ability, which is classic bad-faith as there's absolutely no foundation for that, you are simply trying to distract.
Anyway, you can keep on claiming that you are extraordinary - whatever gets you through the day, CEO of the year.
The reality is rather more prosaic - your views are off-the-peg, "entitled white man", your personality is (unsurprisingly) as derivative as Mamnick.
Only less marketable.
- Islamaphobia

no we wouldn't
-
• #183
@neilp @Jess|e
Imagine you are a minority (race, religion, gender) and you come across Mamnick and see that you are clearly not welcome in already white dominated sport, how would you feel?
NO amount of ..
.. but he is so nice in the pub
.. but he just hates the bad guys of islam
.. but he gives us free socks.. is acceptable.
If you still can't see it, you never will so there is no point in explaining further.
If #MeToo has taught us anything, it is that values matter. As for Thom, you are unfortunately mis-guided and I hope you turn this page.

A Swastika is just a few lines. Your Instagram indulges in references to semiotics, so if you actually know what that means you will understand that the wider symbolism of Pepe goes far beyond an animation: it's a symbol that people with extreme views utilise and rally around.
Please see my previous post re: bad faith and stop being such a tedious provocateur.

Would be the ideal way to end the thread

• #187
Why are you deleting posts from your Twitter if you've nothing to apologise for?
Terrible at parties? You sound like you're terrible at life full stop.
-
• #188
Interesting. Not a dig, just curious.
You don't see that collaborating or taking sponsorship has anything to do with aligning views but would draw the line at taking money from EDL, presumably due to their views and actions not aligning with your own, correct me if I'm wrong. -
• #189
Just to clarify, we don't align ourselves with Thom's person views and dont follow his twitter. His personal view on society are his views. Just because we chose to work with a friend to earn money (manufacture costs were a 50/50 split) for the team expenses was our choice and try to leave political differences at the door. Well manufactured and not shipped 1000's of miles.

• #190
Thank you for your input.
If you won't admit that denying that a black person is human is bad, or even that you did it, then we can't have a discussion here - and to be clear, denying it isn't going to make it not have happened.
Here's a question - how well do you think you're coming across here?
How happy are the people from Kibosh, Matt Donhou etc to be associated with what you're saying, the games you are trying to play? That you are clearly revelling in this?
-
• #191
Aww poor little white guy can't handle being told he can't just spout lots of prejudiced shite whenever he likes without it blowing back in his face and now he's trying to make himself the victim of a witchunt. Poor poor little chap, how will you ever cope?
-
• #192
@CEO_of_the_Year why do you look like you're holding in a poo in your twitter pic?
Is it because you're
full of shit?
-

What is the obsession with evidence? Do you want to be told what other stuff you need to delete because you're not sure yourself? I'd keep deleting if I were you, there's stuff you previously defended but now it's gone! (yes I am a celephopod)

Either he kept his views a secret, in which case you've been duped, or you knew what he was, surely?
I'm going to suggest that you didn't know, but now that you do the question is does that change things?
Proud racism is not a political view, it's not protected as such and it should not be considered to be a valid perspective and therefore treated as such.

I wouldn't want to be riding around in kit that's in any way associated with this cringe-lord and his personal views.
I'd never heard of them before this thread, so just had a quick google.....well no chance the above is going to happen......err has anyone mentioned yet that EVERYTHING they sell is overpriced and shit? Its like Vulpine but worse. If I got any of that tat for free for Chrimbo I'd be fucking gutted, (take note family!), so paying for it is a massive step too far
A foliage pocket square (hankerchief/snot rag to you and me) for £40... TROLLOLOL
https://www.mamnick.com/products/foliage-pocketsquareThe design looks like its taken from the wallpaper backdrop to the local children's nursery's nature table. And knowing the homage cough stealing cough form of the owner, that's probably exactly what he's done. The design would undoubtedly be improved by showering it in snot, at least its a hanky and not a t-shirt I suppose.....
And his bike up-thread just looks like a Foffa with a pink stripe painted on the inside of the fork, so Rapha from like a decade ago, piss poor lame clone and lacking any originality.
Much cutting edge, many fashion, wow.
I shall next take note of this brand when I hear its done a Vulpine and has literally got in the sea.

Your twitter account's a bit weird, Thom. Very few people followed, very few followers, but a near-endless stream of anti-left, anti-islam strangeness. Are you just screaming into the void? Is it just a release valve?
It reads exactly like every twitter stream from alt-right nerds-who-read-a-lot-of-internet I've ever seen, by the way, so well done on your independent thought. You wear your libertarianism proudly on your sleeve - well done for that. I mean, what has socialism ever done for us? Apart from the NHS, obviously. And the welfare state stopping people from living in abject poverty, of course. And paid leave, and holidays, and maternity leave, and workers' rights, and safety in the workplace, and pensions and oh fuck me, is it really so hard?
To ask another question - do you believe unchecked capitalism is both beneficial and sustainable in the long term? -
• #197
Why are we even indulging this fucking mug.

Hi Neil
Do you at least find some irony in the fact you use a Yiddish word for your team (possibly even because someone in your team may be of that heritage, I don't know) and at the same time align yourself with a brand that perpetuates the dangerous and inaccurate trope of Jewish people being involved in a worldwide conspiracy. Or am I reading too much into this picture and caption?

He's an American I thought - spelling Tom with the additional H is normally a reliable sign.
Being a Libertarian is more common over there - it's essentially being a Republican but more selfish, if that's not an oxymoron.

Getting noisy in here. @amey speaking very good sense.
Based on what you've said, is this right?
Islam = bad
Controlling our borders = good
Muslims = maybe good?
Fewer Muslims by controlling our borders = good
Controlling our borders, you ≠ IslamophobicWat.
Plus obviously the anti-Islam posts earlier.
