This is a pitfall of the sponsorship / collabo. My guess is that the Kibosh people (I have ridden with some of them) probably do not support Thom's views, they just wanted some free kit for their fledgling racing squad. But I guess when the Internet starts asking questions people get forced to weigh whether silence or clarification is better, especially if it might affect their sponsorship or marketing opportunities.
I'd never heard of Kibosh until today - so the association is raising awareness.
However, their association also suggests that they approve of Mamnick's racist and misogynistic views, which to me fundamentally contradict one of the main beauties of cycling - that you can meet anyone on the road and share the wind with them, regardless of colour or creed.
Pushing a rent-an-identity, alt-right agenda in cycling is not cool, and I personally will be avoiding any brand which is associated with that.
