I want something with gears and mudguards for commuting so I decided to convert my old Fuji to 650b:

Turns out the chainstays are too tight:
So I had to dust of my stick welder and make this:
Crimping in progress:

And its rideable:
Need to dial in the fit, wrap handlebars add straps to the pedals and trim the mudguard stays. Got a front rack currently sitting on my mtb that im going to try aswell. So far this has been a zero budget build, the only thing I've bought is the c-clamp used for crimping
