Or the moon comet x pro for 105 value / performance and 3 different mounts included.

Anyone attached an Exposure Blaze to a seat stay? If so what did you use?
I seem to think skinny might have done this but can't find a picture... -
• #4829
I have. Used an old bit of inner tube wrapped around the stay with some electrical tape and then attached the bracket to that. Did the whole of LEJOG and numerous audaxes including a 600 with that, worked fine.

Skinny's fairlight has a rack mount where they are mounted, I think he might've got the mount custom 3D printed
-
• #4832
oh wait, it's the TraceR I have. Apologies.

• #4833
So I have a Lezyne pro strip 300, but my back up is a rubbish Lezyne job, looking for another rear to compliment or have as back up. Does the TraceR fit such a bill?

It's a really good light with decent battery life and is basically bomb proof. It's pretty bright, however (don't leave it on flashing for gods sake) and mounting it anywhere other than a seatpost is slightly tricky.
You can probably see there that it's angled up a bit too much, but I've never had any complaints about it. Yet.

• #4835
Yeah bit tricky, I'm finding it hard to find a good option that isn't seat post mounted.
-
• #4836
Bit controversial here maybe...
...put it on your seatpost
-
• #4837
And when running a saddle bag?
-
• #4838
Another Lezyne Strip for the other stay?
-
• #4839
It will be visible underneath it because your saddle is like 150cm high
-
• #4840
Well this was the first stage of the solution, wasn’t sure on the angle when the strip is on the stay

• #4841
Haha I’d hoped so

I have mine mounted to the seat tube and it shines out through the gap between the seat stays, above the rear mudguard and below the saddle bag.
Downside is that it only works for taller riders or those with small wheels.

Flicking through the options on the Gaciron Ali Express website, previously recommended on here,
https://gaciron.nl.aliexpress.com/store/2906009
I came across this option;

Can anyone recommend an IPX6 battery pack? -
• #4844
External battery packs are so 00’s.

• #4845
Can I check did you flip the light clip/holder for that angle?
I'm thinking of getting the aero seatpost clamp and flipping it to improve the angle... -
• #4846
yep, I did. So up the correct way would have been tilted even further up, I think.
-
• #4847
Hmm decisions decisions!
-
• #4848
Yeah this looks good;

Who's gonna give this a try

Hmm. Although I'm surprised there aren't more wearable or in built light products.
I always thought across the back and down the sleeves would be an obvious light trail route.
Ta!
