Yeah, can be a pain. I think there are one or two direct trains to inverness from London during the day too.
The route is now published on their site. Not sure if he is going to run as a mandatory route like the 400 in the organisers series.

Oooh, that looks interesting. Wish the sleeper trains with actual sleeping didn't cost a fortune though.
