Firstly, it's fucking insanely good looking. The lighting, the scenery, seasons, the cars etc. In 4k HDR on a massive OLED screen, it's almost photorealistic in places.
Gameplay is the same FH formula with races, stunts, and showcases which isn't a bad thing.
The only negative I have is probably the way it introduces you to the game. You have probably 4 or 5 hours of the prologue where it shows you the seasons and the game mechanics. It's not as rigid as a walkthrough tutorial in an RPG or something but it still feels like aaaaages before you get to access the whole game.
Still; I've happily paid £80 for it (which also unlocked it on Friday...), even though I have game pass if that's a solid measure of how good it is. The fact that you can play it 'for free' is amazing.
