I've got it for now but thinking I might sell it in the spring.
Basically I've always had sports bikes and tinkered with them in the shed on a shoestring, which so far has been really satisfying. I've had a few forays into fun cars but the performance for money is obviously better with bikes and I end up resenting how much things cost when you have 4 wheels.
If I had a big garage it would be a different story, but fairly sure I'm going to have my fun on 2 wheels exclusively in the future and get a Volvo/BMW estate that we can run into the ground and not care too much about. I am disappoint etc...

Definitely hit me up before you sell it. Depending on how mine is running, I might just be ready to throw it in the sea.

Will do, I've done quite a few 'supporting mods' so that when I eventually added power it would be bang-tidy, but just can't commit to supercharging and the associated costs.

Yay! A most astute choice.

There's only one day better than new bicycle day. New motorcycle day. Okay, and new Italian motorcycle day.

Looks good - really nice -extremely serious looking front brakes.

The brakes feel great, which I guess is a bit comforting. Also swingarm money shot...

I could contemplate that foot peg assembly for hours with a nice pot of tea.

Awesome. Let us have a go!
The tuono version is on my list if I ever have some cash. -

I thought 10.30am was a reasonable time to start it. Sounds great with the twin arrow cans and obviously very different to all the inline 4's I've had. A big thanks to everyone one here for the help and being a sounding board the last week.

Fair comment. Won't be this weekend as packing furiously for a week touring on Monday but will post one up soon.

There are a few places that are in London, depending what you want done. Straight recover or seat modification.
Do you need a while you wait service?

Looks poo and you'll hate riding it.
As a mate I'll give you a grand and take it off your hands...no question asked.

My piece of advice, is look at when the fork oil was last changed, and the brake fluid. If not in the last 12 months think about getting it changed.
Look in to getting the bike set up for you, levers, pegs and suspension. It will handle amazingly, where you look is where it will go. Practice braking to as the brakes are really good.

How often are you peeking out of the window at it?
Are you spying me? Okay maybe a few times.

I'm really lucky as have a great mechanic literally around the corner. Usually I do most spannering myself but this seems too good for me to work on.

MOT til June, clutch “done” this summer. Hoping he’ll take a couple hundred quid off but we’ll see. Just out of budget if he won’t

Was so set on a triumph Daytona but a 650 is just too old to get past ULEZ which isn’t a dealbreaker but would be a pain knowing a can’t go across central without paying £13 and when the area spreads to the south circular in a couple of years, wouldn’t be able to keep it at all. This is 2007 and ulez clear so keeping fingers crossed
