  • Hmmm, good question. Wish I new. There's a thin metal washer (about 2mm) which I've put on the non drive-side to see if that makes a difference but there is still a few mm movement.

    Can you put up a pic of the BB and cranks so I can see where the gap is. I left the BB in with all the spacers etc I needed in it for the SRAM rival cranks I used in it. I've always had a wavy washer (as you describe it) on all the SRAM cranks (these are supplied with the cranks rather than the BB I think). I use SRAM cranks on most of my bikes as my PM(s) are all GXP so I can swap them around. I had SRAM rival cranks on the Macho Man with the BB you are using and with the washer it was perfect. I've also swapped the Rivals for the exact cranks you are using so I'm 99% certain that the wavy washer will sort your play issues. I'm no mechanic but I think what I'm telling you is right. Bike already look great btw.
