Assuming your stem is torqued correctly it shouldn't matter if it comes lose. It's the two piece FSA jobby, right?

Yes, the latter. At the end of a ride there is play again in the headset. I am convinced that the bung slips up in the steerer tube.
It's this headset.
Throw it straight in the bin and buy a proper carbon steerer tube bung that actually works.
