    Great for launching multi-tools during tea stops.

    And yes, it did release spontaneously on a few occasions. Nowhere near as painful as I feared thankfully.

    Now got a nice smooth KSLev one, though I remember being pretty frustrated at how slow it was to rise vs the TMARS one.

    Still would recommend picking one up if you're on a budget or fancy dipping your toe in the world of dropper posts without committing £100+.

    Replacing the cable was a pain as far as I recall though. They're don't take regular gear/brake cable ends, so I'd have to take a road brake cable and file down the end until it was small enough to fit in the release mechanism.

  • I went the other way, dremmel'd the wedge part to fit a normal gear cable end.

    Need new rail clamps though, the bottom one's gone a bit banana.

  • If you order another, let me know, I broke my lower clamp, postage was a lot I think as it was from some French distributor or something.
