Slack Cycles Reynolds 953 Track Frame, 57cm square

For sale

As titled a really nice lugged stainless steel track frame, approximately 57cm square with a 1" headube, shot in seat stays and aero seatstay bridge, weighs just 1700g. Fully brushed finish without any paint.

In excellent condition bar one small ding on downtube near the BB.

£500 >>> £400

Located in walthamstow, happy to post at cost.

Lovely frame, which I am assuming was made by Tim Slack, who is an absolutely top bloke!

The frame was built by their frame builder Chester Lusk

Very nice. Any idea what the head and seat angles are? Is a matching fork available?

Not sure of the head and seat tube angle not crazy steep, probably 74° or slightly steeper. I have a reynolds 631 chrome fork that will fit.

That is beautiful if it was a road frame I would have it! Out of interest could the drop outs be changed to road without effecting the frames integrity?

Yes I guess heating it up to many times may weaken it, also if a track frame the geometry would be to fight for a usable road bike.

I'm very tempted... You wouldn't have a picture of it built up would you? Might give an idea of what the geometry is like.
