Sjs. That’s really good value. The titanium versions on the bay are £110 more and only 30gms lighter unless I read incorrectly.Or this one lighter still at 140gms only £49 withought wheels or £123.00 with wheels
120gms for £34.99

So if I go for one of these racks do I need a rack specific guard, or can I adapt my L mudguard?
@maynardeames, any news on eazywheels size?
-
• #5106
Interesting as I get an occasional, annoying heel strike with the standard rollers fitted.
-
• #5107
I personally add longer bolts in the pack, so you can bolt over the mudguard/stays. or remove the stays and bolt to the guard. Yes 6mm easys
-
• #5108
So yes to using L mudguard without stays?
-
• #5109
Yes :)
-
• #5110
Yeah, that’s pretty good. Altho I manage mine ok with just standard ezwheels.
Bikegang does some really funky stuff. Could spend a fortune there

Can someome enlighten me and tell me how does one remove the rear reflector on the rear brake? There seems to be a different mount from the front and rear.

Extender arrived, waiting for the wheels to pop up in the post and I'll report.
-
• #5113
Remove the bump stop with a 10mm spanner, note the sequence of the parts (spring washer, plain washer, concave spacer) slide the rear brake back out of the frame (you may need to slacken the cable off) remove concave washer, remove reflector, reassemble in reverse order.

How much for an s type stem?
-
• #5117
You know how much, please do not contact me unless you actually would like to purchase it for a reasonable price, I’m open to an offer but half of the asking price is taking the piss.

I've been looking at/considering those extenders for the past year or so but unsure as to the robustness of them ( and that price ).
Look forward to your report. -

Speak to Paul chiu of bikegang, will give you honesty not just try and sell

• #5120
Yup, he’s a good guy. Pleasure to deal with.

Brompton's packed for a trip to Italy. Anybody had any issues with check-in with a Brompton? I've just got normal luggage, but not bike.
-
• #5122
Have a check on your airline website for maximum luggage size. Some of the hard brompton boxes are too big for some airlines.
Obviously don't tell them it's a bike, I had one check-in assistant telling me to take it to oversized luggage, even though it was under the weight and size limits (I had free sports luggage so made no difference to the cost).
