But what's the point on having a light adventure bike?
Sounds ace to me. I mean even when camping it’s nicer if the bike if it doesn’t feel like a loaded truck. Then for shorter, quicker rides a light bike is just more enjoyable and slightly faster.

Me and a couple mates rode up Leith hill on our loaded bikes with camping gear. I prayed for a few kilos less and that’s by no means a big hill
