They have a long-standing right to use the public highway and it's always important to emphasise that it has many different purposes and isn't just a modern speedway for motorised vehicles. I mean, I'm vegan, I don't approve of horse-riding for other reasons (arguments for and against here), but I certainly wouldn't ask a question which with a few changes is the one drivers ask about cyclists on a daily basis.
(Good trolling of James, though.)
