  • Apparently, horses can be spooked by the sound of freewheels,

Who the hell thinks that a public road is an appropriate place for an animal which gets spooked by a quiet clicking sound - and possibly injures it's rider and other road users?

  • You should see the brakes on those bastards! Nowt but strands of leather, and pulling on them is no guarantee anything is going to happen, modulation is ropey as fuck, and its totally possible to go over the, err what do you say instead of bars, over the ears? Is this where the phrase arse over tit comes from?

And lets not even get started on the emissions.....Penelope, something just fell out the back of your horse, you not cleaning that up then?

  • No road tax either. Don’t even have a licence plate.

  • Yeah, a bridle comes before a fall.

Someone's horse shat on a very busy footpath in the park near me (one of the paths through the Meadows for those who've been to Edinburgh. During the Fringe) and it was there for over a month. It's only grass I guess but literally hundreds of people must have trod in it. It seems extremely stupid that there's no fine for leaving horse poo on the road/footpath when dog fouling attracts a fine. I'm sure that it's nothing to do with the pastimes of politicians and their friends.
