  • Looking for some in-ear headphones, anyone have any recommendations?

    Max budget ~£100.

    I just went through this..
..have found that if you look around you will find a lot of different suggestions on review sites / forums etc.
Consensus seems to be that the SE215 are quite good value for money though.
Try them and see if you like the sound, and if you can arrange yourself with the handling would be my suggestion (definitely buy from somewhere that accepts returns).
They're good headphones, but they were not for me.
Oh and don't get the version with the iPhone remote, it's rubbish.

  • I love se215

  • I demo’d a pair of Shure SRH840s yesterday. Proper monitoring cans so for office/home use only but my goodness, exceedingly good value. Everything I love about the SE425s but taken up a notch. No isolation though...

  • I want something half-decent for skype calls etc. when I work from home. Wireless but that I won't forget to charge up or have to keep reconnecting every time i use..
On ear headset (with mic) - bluetooth - with charging dock

My thoughts so far are https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-MB-Pro-UC-ML-Black/dp/B00J8ME6QA

    anybody any experience? any suggestions?

  • We've got a wired version of these at work, and they've been great since introducing Skype Audio - micro-USB charging though, not a dock.

Anyone used these? As good as people say?

  • Dunno but at £349 I'd wanna hear them before buying...

  • Keen to hear thoughts on the following

Bluetooth wireless headphones used for cycling (prefer not having to worry about connection when riding)
Okay with a cable connecting between earbuds so neckbands alright
Used primarily for podcasts so audio fidelity not primary consideration but would like pretty robust and decent battery life
Noise cancellation not wanted as I'd like to hear some of the noises from the environment around me
Would like to spend under £65

I've been using Xiaomi Bluetooth Earbuds but finding them not especially robust.

    Recommendations gratefully received

  • I have the cheap Betron ones from amazon and find they didnt get killed with sweat. Have gone for wireless sony buds more recently.

The Bose sport ones get good reviews

  • fuck fuckity fuck, lost my Bose Soundsport wireless .. buy the same again?

  • ^ so you can lose one at a time next time ;)

  • apple design isnt comfortable for my ears, soft silicon/rubber ideally .. I loved the Bose, I am 95% certain I lost them but gonna check again tonight and might just buy the same again :(

  • Jabra Elite 65t. With that said I've not heard them - but seem to be well regarded.

  • Get the Bose again, wireless earbuds just aren't there yet

  • I have Sony and Airpods and still find I use my wired, wireless Bose more

  • I've got these and pretty happy with them although i can't claim to be an audiophile

  • Amazon did the Sennheiser HD4.50 BTNC for £90 yesterday on their Treasure Trucks.

So far I'm quite impressed, not as polished in looks and accessories as the Bose and Sony wireless noise-cancelling sets but a lot of headphone for not a lot of money.

  • Anyone interested in a set of Shure SE315? Not sure what a reasonable price would be.

  • Where can I go tomorrow in London to try out some over-ear Bluetooth headphones? I have a pair of the dubiously-named mixcder ms301; they are almost perfect for my needs (sound ok, cheap, excellent battery life) but I get some ear pressure so I need something with bigger/deeper ear cups. I'm not against spending lots, but don't want to be over protective of my headphones so affordable is better. I can't wear in-ear ones, unfortunately.

  • Can you not replace the pads with deeper ones? Or are they too small across also?

    Edit: also probably too late

  • What do people wear for running?

  • tank top and shorts, usually
