haven't been to niflheim yet, so no mist collection, I need asgardian steel to upgrade the dwarf armour, so need to defeat some valkyrie to do that. Had my arse kicked by the valkryie in alfheim, as I was finishing off that realm. Was looking for a shield upgrade that I thought was over there..

Just logged on for a lunchtime session, first order of business was defeat the muspelheim valk, immediately dodged their valhalla attack (lol) and killed it in a couple attempts, then went on to do helheim, alfheim as well.
have you seen this online? there was a hidden puzzle in the collectors edition that leads you to a special axe pommel.

also do you know about the shattered gauntlet of ages talisman and what happens if you upgrade it to 3 slots and put certain gems in it? it's an infinity wars easter egg but the resulting attack (L1 + circle) is pretty powerful.

I finished the trials yesterday (surprisingly easy as I'd already upgraded my mist armour as much as I could without the crest of flames and smouldering embers so was lvl 8.) only one I failed was the taking damage because I was pissing about trying to reflect firebombs with my shield not realising you literally couldn't take any damage at all.
The Valkyrie at the top is maddening, I can get her down to the last health bar easily before needing my ressurection stone but as soon as I get close to killing her she spams that undodgeable jump slam attack and eats whatever health I have left in seconds. I looked online and I've seen videos of people dodging it but I copy them exactly and it hits me. pure rage-fuel.
