Does this constitute a 'bargain' in anyone's eyes? I don't know much about the virtues of the Syncros finishing kit.

Syncros is just Scott's own-brand components, like Bontrager is for Trek. Good price for that bike though.

Yes a few pals have Scotts of varying levels and none have seemed in a mad rush to swap out the Syncros branded parts
