I bought one of these Hario pots about five years ago, forgot I had it... Will have to drag it out...

Fuck me, beans are expensive here... My local roastery charges forty bucks for 500g, got some Coffee Supreme (very highly regarded folks from Melbourne who opened here a couple of years back) beans posted for $35 and they're just as good but still so spendy... Just bought a kilo of supermarket beans for my girlfriend for only $18, they were on special at half price but she loves them...

I'm sure I was paying only £12 for 500g at Monmouth, or am I dreaming?

Postage costs are a lot of that extra cost tho, right? I always found Australia to have cheaper and much better quality coffee beans than the U.K.

I have no idea, I've only just started buying beans again... Was a bit worried when I was almost at the bottom of my bag of beans after just a week... I may actually try a bag of Segafredo decaf and see how I get on, us immigrants don't like spending a lot of money on the essentials in life... 😁
