When I had to go away for almost 4 months, upon my return, as I was stood by the garden windows, Patch slowly emerged from somewhere and once she positively ID’d me, she sprint all the way across the garden, shot through the catflap and jumped onto me... then all of a sudden, she stopped and gave me that look as if she suddenly realised, as a cat, she has a certain standard of aloofness to maintain! It was one of the sweetest and funniest moments we share!

We've been on our honeymoon and haven't seen our cats for 10 days now - but we're flying back tonight. Can't wait be begged to and then ignored.
