I would probably get the womens model if it wasn't for the super-sloping TT. Fugly AF.
Actually it's better than you think, I went for a women model with a lots of seatpost, still look good (before I end up changing it too much).

yea but it is metal. lots of metal bikes fit this bill but are heavier and generally less aggressively fit/designed.
really i want an open upper with fender mounts, but gerard is a fucker and wants me to be wetter and more miserable than i already am.

Aren't these tight 'guard builds pretty bad for anything other than compacted gravel?

Looking good.
What size is that?
Model year? -

Whut? Metal bikes come in all shapes and sizes. The OPEN U.P.(P.E.R.) itself is pretty slack with it's 72,5º seat tube.

yea-ish. i think in general they have longer wheelbases and higher stack/reach ratios. if you know of a counterexample i'd like to look at it.
the intent with the seat tube angle is the use of a zero setback post no? so you are pretty much in a road race position if you slam it. it is only about 1cm higher and shorter than my tcr if i recall the geo correctly.

2018, Tall (Large) Arkose 2, as the hydraulic is near identical to the 3, except for 10 speed.

Which Carradice saddlebag is that? I'm after one and that looks like the perfect size for the commute
-
• #5696
its a nelson longflap, perfect for commuting, the flap opens up for bigger stuff like brompton wheels. the side pockets are ace, one has my coat the other my tools/tube etc.
Its 18 litres without the extension flap!
