I like this idea. With an appropriate through-axle you could even tap both ends and fit a standard rack with M5/M6 bolts. You'd need to remove the rack to remove the wheel but 🤷♂️
If bloody through-axles were bloody standardised at all an axle with rack mounts would be a very popular product I'm guessing
