Our little Lula Balula has developed a lump in her mouth. This all brings back memories of Catface who had an aggressive tumor. Lula seems chirpy at the moment so we aren't rushing her to the vets (who I have spoken to on the phone) & she is eating. Car trips stress her out so if we can we are avoiding upsetting her too much. We are however going to get her checked out on Saturday when we have the time to spend with her before & after the appointment. I'm super worried as her mouth is the one area insurance wont cover & I know I wont be able to afford any treatment, plus she is getting on a bit with two different ongoing long term illnesses.
I'm absolutely thinking the worst right now, but I know that I have given the initially hard to love cat a good two years. The last year on the boat seems to have mellowed her out further & she has become a true boat cat. I guess we will see what Saturday brings.
