I was referring to yourself and the other excellent framebuilders on here with the artisan comment 😉 (again not sarcasm)
And I don't need any convincing that there are some crap GTs out there, I had an ancient GT Aggressor which must've been the worst bike I've ever owned. I swear the bloody thing was over 20kg

GT as a company are not artisans.
Most of their bikes are shitty welded :)
I am mostly interested in Tiemeyer bikes anyway.
