Yeah strs405. I need to figure out how they made this work first. Shimano are open system, while magura are closed if I remember correctly.

Depends on the version of those no? I did a hose change to steel braided on one once like above and was surprised to find it wasn't a closed system.
I'd be more concerned withe the pressure/volume of fluid required.
