Used to do that on the BMX to try and stop 3-cornered jack punctures. Put new tyre on, over old worn one.

I was in Gozo 2 weeks ago. lovely island. my family has been visiting since before I was born (my mum is actually still out there now as well i think).

Arrive at junction, wait, set pedal, get rear wheel blown sideways. #awindytown

was driving back thinking "this would have been doable on the bike" - when came across bin rolling around the road - then 10mins later again thinking "could still be do-able" , a big rubble sack back swept right across the bonnet of the car........................

It’s very nice alright, apart from the fact that me and the wife (we’re here on our honeymoon) thought we’d hire a couple of bikes to tour the island. Once we got here we realised the place is like Nepal - barely a level road to be had, everything is either wildly up or down. It’s still about 28-30c here too, so sod that. Buses it is.

So a normal day in South London?

Due to domestics I wasn’t able to cycle this morning so took the motorcycle in , up cs7. Not particularly pleasing to see the builder type on an e Bike who cut through Tooting at a steady 30 in the Bike lane and rlj’ed all the way to Clapham

Double-decker bus driver this morning decided to overtake me, no problem, he then decided to pull towards the curb diagonally whilst he was still pulling past me.. Not cool.

I knocked on his window at the bus stop to ask if he might think about not doing this as it's terrifying. He looks annoyed and told me whilst gesticulating that he gave me "loads of room".

If he'd seemed apologetic I'd have left it, as he was a dick about it I took photos of him and the bus and I've reported him to TFL.

I hope they make him sit in an all day road awareness course on his day off, wanker.

seems since the return of the schools is gone a little "mad" out there driving wise, not just "against" cycling......been thinking of some sort of slimline helmet camera........
