Hi all,

I am selling this lovely 54cm turquoise n' white 1991 Giant Speeder in hi-ten steel.
All parts are stamped 1990, but this is a year model 1991.

Size wise, would suit someone about 5ft7 (170cm) to 5ft10 (178cm) ish. Top tube is 54cm ctc, seat tube is 54cm ctc. Stem is 80mm, bars are 41cm.

I have just given it a good service and replaced loads of parts so it works really well.
Wheels have been trued, headset has been serviced, new sealed bottom bracket, seatpost and stem move freely.

Built-up with a Shimano / Dia-Compe / Sakae mix of parts.

Fitted with:

• New inner/outer cables - £20
  
• New BBB fushia bar tape - £10
  
• New Michelin Dynamic clincher tyres 700c x 25mm - £20
  
• New Union sealed bottom bracket 113mm - £15
  
• New white Retro Rivet saddle - £10
  
• New front brake pads - £10
  
• Used Modolo aero brake levers with white hoods
  
• Used Eclat BMX pedals in turquoise
  
  

Rims are Wolber GTA Gentleman clinchers which I had not seen before, nice name.
Brake callipers are Dia-Compe.
Seatpost and stem are Sakae.
Chainset is a Sugino double.
Shifters, hubs, cassette, front and rear derailleurs are Shimano (7 speed indexed).

A couple of light scuffs and small marks on the paint but no dents.

SOLD SOLD SOLD for £195 - not a bad deal knowing there is about £85 of new parts on it and I have spent 4 hours cleaning/degreasing/servicing/regreasing.

I only have royal blue ones left so that would be a real faux pas.

BLB has some horrendous coloured tyres in their sale at £5.99 a pop.

Loads of bikes on Gumtree or at the car boot sale in Glasgow (I used to live up there for 5 years) so you will find something decent locally.
