Great weekend riding and camping! Route was a blast, fun but challenging on a gravel bike with front panniers.

@carson hope you feel better now. We could hear the pub party still going when our camp got quiet for sleep.

Shame I missed you guys. I passed within a spit of your campsite about midnight, but carried on home instead. I was looking forward to meeting you and having breakfast in the woods!

@yakut / @spotter what cooking kits did you have?

This burner which fit into these pots with a small gas bottle and this bottle stand.

MSR Pocket Rocket 2 burner, MSR IsoPro small fuel canister - enough for a few trips if only heating water, Alpkit aluminium pot (have a set of two, this was the small one) - rubber handle coating removed to avoid it melting, I use a thick glove for handling it.
Need one of those canister stands spotter mentioned.
Also, didn't bring it but love my Sea to Summit foldable bowl - folds flat and bottom doubles as a chopping board.

I've got a canister stand I never use, you can have it for free. came with my OG pocket rocket

You can pick those tiny burners up for £3.50 on aliexpress. The mind boggles how it's possible, but I've got one and it works. Seems identical to Alpkit's £25 version.

45g!!!!!! mine is only 25g, I can tell im so much faster without those extra 20g
