If I could wear my current 26 x 2.35 Big Apples(?) out quicker I'd get a set.

Skid more.

I don't like wearing stuff out just for the sake of it. Hookworms were what I wanted when I built it but I couldn't find any. I kinda wanna throw some superfast slicks on it just to see what it's like and then go back to balloon tyres for winter.

Kojaks should be faster rolling than big As.
Hookworms are anything but fast. Ultimate grip comes with ultimate drag. I love the comfort tho. -
• #83
When I say superfast slicks I mean like the old Vredestein S-Licks. Big Apples are slow as shit too, but that's why I built the bike, to slow me down on commutes.
-
• #84
Ah, I see what Kojaks look like. They do a (26 x 1.35) at 295g which would be rapid compared to the ~1kg a piece of the Big Apples.

All the strava koms are belong to you.
-
• #86
Ha! If I wanted those I'd be rollin' to work on my Shiv :)
-
• #87
You totally should! Just for comedy value. Make sure to put your gopros on.

All retro bikes are gone. I realised that the smallest wheel size that I can comfortably ride is 27.5+. Yay to being a giant!
This is on the way now, to arrive in 2 to 3 weeks. Say hello to jaroon plus. 29+ "gravel" bike.
Mudguards, racks, and slicks.

Not offhand. The Maxxis Refuse 700x40 looked promising, but seem to measure closer to 38mm.

I'm totally not buying a bike for my tyres. Not at all.

Wtb dual duty if they still make them? It's been a while since I've done rim brake 29ers.
I should've noticed the logo, but somehow the camo stopped me believing it was Restrap. Enjoy!
