yes, now I can see that. I honestly didn't even make the connection when I wrote it though.
Anyways, as we were...

Actually you'll find our remit has moved onto Reselling Pricing Police.

Isn't it just the pointing out behavioural transgressions and pedantry police?
Or is that part of the special tautological pedantry branch?
-
• #31755
pedantry police
Do the pedantry police make sure that everyone is pedantic, enforcing universal pedantry, or do they stamp out pedantry? I'd like to be absolutely clear what you mean by this.
-
• #31756
All forms of pedantry is punishable.

Are. Fuck me.

Sorry to digress from this most earnest of ruminations but I'm resuming my quest for a replacement original transfer jacket in medium/black-if anyone has one sitting with unloved and unworn lemme know. Ta

In case anyone cares I just picked mine up from the post office (original 8oz non-rapha version).
8oz is perfect size for a non-starbucks vat of coffee, bigger than a proper flat white from a coffee shop for sure. if you wanted to use it as a cup at your desk as well without putting the lid on you can fit about 20% more liquid in as well.
a fairly solid 4.5/7
buy the normal black one from frank green and put a rapha sticker on it to save yourself a tenner though (or you can have mine for RRP and I'll buy another one LOL)
-
• #31766
How the fuck is this £20?
-
• #31767
I'll buy yours for RRP but can only collect after 4:30...
-
• #31768
Rapha one is £35

A selection of saddles are back on the Rapha lucky dip website, and I need a new saddle so I tried to order one. Nope, website seems unable to take orders at the moment. Press the 'Order now' button, it goes grey, and absolutely nothing happens. That website really is a fucking disaster.

I partially retract my statement, I did not realise it's so hard to find a fully seal-able insulated "cup", for much less than that price point, but I guess it's also quite a niche product inflating the price.
I think you could clean up by designing a lid without an opening for those "travel mugs", they're about £2/pop in bulk, slap some fancy colours on, sell it for £10, mad profit.
-
• #31772
These are pretty good, stay sealed and keep a brew hot for most of a day in the winter.
-
• #31773
I'm still gonna get a sweet rapha one when they're in stock at work though.
-
• #31774
these look good, go in a bottle cage?
