I only have the e2 pro 2, I don’t think it has a daytime mode or sensor, if you switch it off then it’s off, I think the idea being that you can then divert the power to a usb charger or something else when the light isn’t needed during the day.
What I meant about the stand light was that I thought that if i cycled to the shops in the dark with the light on, then wanted to lock up and turn the stand light off, to not attract attention, then the switch would do that. It doesn’t, the stand light will still be on until the capacitor drains. (Hope that makes slightly more sense)
ah yeah .. I think thats a german requirement to have a daytime light, do either have sensors or its either on or off?
