Go to bed for a few hours and the place blows up.
When I say EDM it encompasses a fairly wide range of stuff, but for me it's anything that is overly sampled and manufactured and lacking in "soul" for want of a better word. I like guitars. I like singing. I like melody.
I think I get what you're saying @Airhead, I think though that certain colouring or style of a system could never drive me to a form of music, just away from that system if it makes music I love sound like shit.
