The old jerseys are excellent.
My favs: Classic jersey
Brevet insulated gilet
Pro team thermal bib shorts
Pro team jacket
Merino base layers
Leather GT mittsA lot of the rest is a bit hit and miss

I mean, that jersey has been on there for years. Someone actually paid £400 for one the other day.

Think there's another on there undercutting at £7500 ...while a nice one went for £189 a few weeks back....

Yeah.
OG merino baselayers (which were quite different to the thin, tight knit current version).
Classic merino jersey (the long sleeve version of which has been lived in by me despite being tight on the neck and short in the arm). Both great.
I like some newer bits too, such as the Pro Team Mesh and Rain baselayers. Both great, neither available any longer.

Forgot the winter polo neck merino base layer, which is awesome. I don't think I've actually used it for cycling, mostly winter walking and skiing.

Pro Team Jacket purchased in 2012 is going to be used for it's sixth winter this year. The vfm there is insane.

These comments make for a moving eulogy.

Has Rapha gone full Vulpine?
-
• #31712
Nah, just wanted to end the mournful reminiscing of clothes gone by.

I still have from a buying splurge in 2008 their Fixed Bomber Jacket, Fixed Mini Back Pack, Lightweight Softshell Jacket, Softshell Jacket, Stowaway Jacket and some base layers and socks that had daily use for quite a few years. All of it is still used, although a baselayer got killed by moths.

I’ve just got the crit jersey in large.
It’s not for me I’ve decided.
Thought I’d see if anyone wants it’s full RRP £120 otherwise it’ll be going back.

full RRP £120
Mighty generous of you, why would I buy it from you rather than them for full RRP?
-
• #31716
This place is hard work at times.
It’s no longer available, having sold out pretty quickly in Large both originally and then when back in stock. -
• #31718
Given that I’m not benefiting from the sale and it’s probably more effort than simply returning it, I fail to see how it’s bad form.

Because you're using the forum as a quick route to getting a refund, you're doing no one a favour but yourself. If you'd said
"I don't want to wait 2 weeks for a refund so who wants it for a tenner off"
then at least there would be a little something in it for a buyer rather than just a lack of warranty, returns, consumer rights etc. -
• #31721
Guys, Rapha is tearing us apart, stop!
-
• #31722
Except your hypothesis fails because if no one wants it, it would delay a refund.

Because you're using the forum as a quick route to getting a refund
That's either a massive assumption on your part, or you have amazing telepathic skills.
you're doing no one a favour but yourself.
And anyone who wants one of these jerseys, given that they're no longer available from Rapha.
-
• #31725
It's not a massive assumption at all. It's very clear, and if someone wants to buy it, then that's fine. It is obvious to anyone reading that it will result in getting the cash back, with less hassle and more speed, than if it is sent back to Rapha.
You should put it on ebay. The old stuff goes for about £10,000 nowadays......
