a fixed gear touring bike with a flip flop gear setup so he can climb hills on this damn thing. The frame is built from double oversized tubing with some fancy hand carved lugs and a chrome low trail fork.
For his brake, a 2 to 1 brake system that’s hooked up to a Paul’s Limited Edition Klamper disc brake. Some other key design components include a Nitto bullmoose stem with shellac’d bars, an integrated spoke holder, timken bearing headset, of course a brooks saddle for the desired comfort, and our head badge to finish things off. -

Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.

You should've posted the big sprocket as well, pretty nuts. I think it's lower than 1:1

The seat post and fork rake makes it look like someone tried to rip the bike apart.

Nice, except that crankset is square taper, has proprietary (or at least very uncommon) bolt pattern, and costs $500. Both of those things are fine but not at that price.
(it is the Compass one, right?)

Just buy a damn derailleur!
Dunno why it needs a disc brake, even with the bigger gear as photographed it must be almost impossible to pedal that thing up to anything over a slow walking pace.
