A colleague just told me a story how he's lost a rolex sub he inheritted from his dad. A limited hulk sub from some airforce as he was a pilot in both world wars.

At a party. He said he was massively smashed.

If it's true, I guess he showed someone and they asked to try it on and he drunkenly forgot to get it back.
