not sure, I'm assuming there will be a group stage, would it be a waterfall like system, of teams not making the champions league knockout stages, dropping into the Europa, and then teams not making the Europa League knockout stages dropping into unnamed European Cup Competition.
Would the winner of the unnamed European Cup Competition get a place in the Europa League the following season, or even (whisper it) the Champions League..
Hope it means there's more chances for teams, big or small, with history or without to experience competing for and winning a European trophy.. -

Introducing the "are you called Spurs or are you the Spurs of your league?" Cup.

Introducing the "are you called Spurs or are you the Spurs of your league?" Cup.
The Totting-up Not-Spurs cup?

This all sounds unattractively (to me) complicated. So is almost certainly the sort of thing UEFA will pursue...

I'd like it to reinstated so Liverpool can add it to their collection as it's the only one we didn't win. Have to win a cup first though mind.

I wonder if any other English team have won them all? Can't think right now, um?
-

V good.
-

Must be Leeds, Arsenal or Newcastle, as they're the only ones to have won Fairs Cup.

Can't think of any off the top of my head I'm afraid

No one counts that one!

United too, as the Europa League is the old UEFA Cup.

How about a history cup for teams that used to be very good, but aren't all that any more.
Reims
Fiorentina
Partizan Belgrade
Gornik Zabre
Upjest Dosza
Eintracht Frankfurt
Saint Etienne
Liverpool
Everton
Arsenal
Wolves
Hamburg
Steua Bucarest -

But that excludes clubs that burned brightly and then dropped off
Spurs
Derby

Maybe those kind of clubs can play in knockout preliminary round, starting around the end of May or early June. We need to add Newcastle too.

• #146616
Oh god, this is getting out of hand.
What about Preston, Huddersfield, Burnley, and Sunderland? -
• #146617
What about Villa?
-
• #146618
And Arsenal.
-
• #146619
Arsenal were in the first list.
Which should have had Borussia Mönchengladbach in too.
-
• #146620
Burnley are definitely qualified for this, we were the first non-city to play in the Fairs Cup.
-
• #146621
Suggestions for 1st list;
Lokomotiv Leipzig
Dukla Prague, (if only for shirt sales). -
• #146622
Huddersfield and PNE's glory days were pre-European competition. Sunderland have never had any glory days bar the 1973 FA Cup. Villa of course, will be seeded.

Whichever Budapest club played at the stadium used in Escape to Victory.
Oh and Honved too. -
• #146624
Dukla Prague are in.
But they can only play in their away kit.

But they can only play in their away kit.
Suggestion,
or,
admirably precise summary of previous European ties?
