I wonder what the qualifying criteria will be.
Are you called Spurs?
Will you be able to win this?

not sure, I'm assuming there will be a group stage, would it be a waterfall like system, of teams not making the champions league knockout stages, dropping into the Europa, and then teams not making the Europa League knockout stages dropping into unnamed European Cup Competition.
Would the winner of the unnamed European Cup Competition get a place in the Europa League the following season, or even (whisper it) the Champions League..
Hope it means there's more chances for teams, big or small, with history or without to experience competing for and winning a European trophy..

This all sounds unattractively (to me) complicated. So is almost certainly the sort of thing UEFA will pursue...

How about a history cup for teams that used to be very good, but aren't all that any more.

Maybe those kind of clubs can play in knockout preliminary round, starting around the end of May or early June. We need to add Newcastle too.

Burnley are definitely qualified for this, we were the first non-city to play in the Fairs Cup.

Huddersfield and PNE's glory days were pre-European competition. Sunderland have never had any glory days bar the 1973 FA Cup. Villa of course, will be seeded.
